What is COLORME Art Spa? COLORME Art Spa is a Scottsdale, Arizona-based mobile creative experience studio founded in 2000 by artist and speaker Debra Lee Murrow. COLORME brings live art, graphic recording, and facilitated painting workshops directly to corporate events, conferences, schools, nonprofit gatherings, and private celebrations across the greater Phoenix metro area. Every experience is designed around a core belief: words carry life, and creativity is essential to human wellbeing. 

 What is graphic recording — and what does COLORME offer? 

Graphic recording is the practice of capturing ideas, stories, and conversation visually in real time using large-scale illustration and hand-lettered text. During your event, Debra listens, draws, and translates the energy of the room into a single cohesive visual document — live, on a large canvas or paper, for all attendees to see as it unfolds. COLORME provides live graphic recording for conferences, corporate events, leadership summits, community forums, and organizational planning sessions in the Scottsdale and Phoenix area. The finished piece becomes a lasting artifact — photographed, framed, reproduced as a coloring page for team-building follow-up, or installed as permanent art. 

What interactive art experiences does COLORME offer for corporate events and team building? 

COLORME specializes in two signature corporate formats: live graphic recording and community canvas activations. In a community canvas activation, participants paint the pre-prepped large-scale canvas, building a collective piece of art that reflects the group's identity or theme. These experiences work equally well as icebreakers, conference closers, leadership retreats, and employee appreciation events. COLORME also offers Living Legacy sessions — where a leader's story is captured as a live pen-and-ink graphic recording and then distributed as a team-building coloring activity. Corporate clients have included Gateway Bank and multiple Scottsdale-area organizations. 

Does COLORME offer motivational speaking with live art? 

Yes. Debra Lee Murrow is a keynote painter and motivational speaker who paints a large-scale canvas live on stage while delivering her message. This format — simultaneous speaking and painting — creates a one-of-a-kind audience experience where the artwork itself becomes the visual metaphor for the talk. Topics draw from Debra's background as a faith-forward artist, certified coach, and community builder. Keynote painting is available for conferences, women's events, church gatherings, nonprofit galas, and corporate meetings.

What art party and workshop experiences are available for kids and families in Scottsdale? 

COLORME offers mobile art creation experiences for birthday parties, school events, family gatherings, and community celebrations throughout the Scottsdale and Phoenix area. Facilitated sessions are designed for all ages and skill levels — no experience required. Workshops are built around the certified Paint From Your Soul curriculum, encouraging participants to connect personal meaning with creative expression.  Who is Debra Lee Murrow? 

Debra Lee Murrow is an Arizona-based visual artist, graphic recorder, certified coach, keynote painter, workshop facilitator, published author, and founder of COLORME Art Spa. Her word-based art practice — compositions built entirely from meaningful words and phrases — began over 20 years ago in New York City and has resulted in 20+ large- scale permanent installations across from NYC to Arizona - schools, churches, and community spaces. She is the resident artist for the Empower & Elevate Conference for Female Entrepreneurs and the creator of civic mosaic projects including a cowboy boot mosaic displayed at the Scottsdale Rodeo Museum. Her coloring books are available on Amazon KDP. She self-identifies as "the Queen of Breakthrough" and operates from the belief that art functions as testimony, healing, and community witnessing.
